Nancy J. Chilutti Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nancy J. Chilutti, August 17, 1932 - August 21, 2021 Beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Chilutti, Sr. Loving mother of Karen (Jeff), Kathy (Rick), Joe, Jr. (Barb), Paul (Tracey), Keith (Shannon) and Mark (Jayne). Dear Grandmother of 10, and Great Grandmother of 7. Nancy raised six kids and took pride in the title of “homemaker.” She loved to bake and do crafts, and for decades shared those talents with others through her volunteer work at St. Petri and Hope Lutheran Churches. Even in her first year of living at the Protestant Home she took pride in what people paid for her infamous “Yum Yum cake.” Before her beloved husband Joe died six years ago, they were the perfect couple that showed true love for each other, and were a great example to others. She proudly wore the pearls he gave her for her 16th birthday all throughout her life, and they were married for 65 years. Their favorite vacations were taking a bus trip to almost anywhere, enjoying good food, and the company of others along the way. Day trips to the shore, Lancaster, and the casinos brought joy to both of them. Until the end she was proud of her children, overjoyed by her grandchildren, and, amazed that she lived long enough to have 7 great-grandchildren. Please join family and friends at her memorial service on Tuesday, September 14th at Saint Johns Lutheran Church, 3101 Tyson Avenue, Philadelphia 19149. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, and the service will follow. Burial afterwards is private.
