Edward F. Allwein Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ed was the love of my life, we spent 33 loving years together. He was a special person, loving, sensitive, kind, generous, patriotic, with a good sense of humor. His Catholic faith was very important to him. Ed went to St. Joseph's Prep, University of Pennsylvania, some Graduate work at Drexel. He was a US Army Veteran. Ed was an Account Executive for Cooper Engineered Products. He was a member of the Detroit Rubber Group and a member of The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). He taught Rubber technology classes. After retirement Ed enjoyed spending time as a member of the Computer Education Society of Philadelphia. He was a past Vice President and past President of the Shepherd's Crossing Residents Council. Ed was a member of The Parents of Woodhaven, Inc. Ed had five Children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grand children. Ed will be missed by his five loving children Kathleen M. Bianculli (James Bianculli), Edward F. Allwein, Jr. ( Linda Constantine), Denise M. Ferrand (James Ferrand), Phyllis M. McWhorter ( E.E. McWhorter, III), Robert F. Allwein (Prudence Allwein) and his two Step Children, Michael B. Van Note, Nichole T. Stevens(Christopher Stevens) and his eight grandchildren, and five great-grand children.
